Fermín Lopez has made a significant impact in the Barcelona first team recently, particularly in his standout performances against Mallorca and Sevilla. Despite being 20 years old, he has never received a call-up to the Spanish national youth teams, unlike his peers such as Lamine Yamal, Gavi, or Balde, who have caught the eye of the selectors much earlier in their careers.
However, Fermín's emergence came during his loan spell at Linares in the Primera Federación, where he impressively netted 12 goals. Additionally, his excellent performances during FC Barcelona's pre-season further solidified his place in the first-team setup.
