Lewandowski a goal machine, says PSG president.

In an interview with Polish outlet Meczyki, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaifi hinted at his past interest in signing Barcelona superstar Robert Lewandowski.

After a record-breaking spell at Bayern Munich, Lewandowski chose to join FC Barcelona in the summer of 2022. During that time, there were rumors of PSG's interest in him, but the 35-year-old Poland captain ultimately chose Barcelona, where he has been highly successful.

During the interview, Al-Khelaifi expressed his admiration for Lewandowski and suggested that PSG had considered signing the veteran goalscorer in the past.

"I have a policy of not discussing players who are not at PSG or transfers that may or may not have happened. But it's no secret that Robert is an incredible striker. Every top club in the world considered signing him at some point," Al-Khelaifi stated.

"However, Robert is now at Barcelona, and I respect that. There aren't many sharpshooters like him who consistently score goals. He's a goal-scoring machine and a great individual. We've met, and I can only speak positively about him," he added.
