Barcelona tracking the Brazilian wonderkid.

Brazil has long been a breeding ground for young, exceptionally talented footballers, and European clubs have kept a watchful eye on emerging talents from this South American nation.

Barcelona is no exception, and they have consistently shown interest in Brazilian prospects, most recently securing the signing of Vitor Roque. With Deco now serving as the sporting director, there is optimism that the club will continue to bring in more promising young talents from Brazil, given his extensive knowledge of the Brazilian market.

Currently, players like Gabriel Moscardo and Estevao Willian have been linked to Barcelona. Now, there's a new name on the radar – Flamengo wonderkid Lorran.

According to Graeme Bailey of 90 Min, Barcelona is one of the clubs closely monitoring Lorran's development. The 17-year-old attacking midfielder is one of Brazil's most exciting emerging talents, having already made four senior appearances for Flamengo, even scoring a goal. In doing so, Lorran became Flamengo's youngest-ever goalscorer in history.

News of the young prodigy's abilities has reached European clubs, with several top teams expressing interest in him, including Barcelona. Lorran is currently under contract with Flamengo until December 2025, which also includes a release clause valued at €50 million.
