This is Dembele decision for his future.

 

According to reports, Dembele told Barcelona that he wanted to stay at the club and renew his current contract. 

The sportsman said that the Frenchman’s current deal will expire in 2022. He has informed the Catalan giants that he is happy with the Nou Camp and is now willing to extend his stay. 

Dembele is said to have signed a new agreement "in no hurry", just as Barcelona still has no president and its financial situation is not good, which is good. 

The report believes that it may actually be difficult for Barcelona to provide Dembele with a higher salary in the renewal, or to provide the same salary as other clubs. 

It was previously reported that Dembele could be sold in the summer if he did not renew his contract because the club wanted to avoid him entering the final year of his contract and possibly becoming a free agent. 

Manchester United are in contact with Dembele again this week. Last summer, the Red Devils were keen to move forward. According to reports, if they fail to sign with top target Jadon Sancho, they may try again.
