Barcelona re-sign ex-La Masia.

 

Barcelona has already renewed the contract with former Barcelona second central defender Roger Riera. 

According to a report by Diario Sport, Barcelona B club coach Garcia Pimienta  is personally interested in bringing the 25-year-old back to his side. 

Interestingly, the defender played for 4 different teams before returning to Barcelona: Nottingham Forest U21, Celta Vigo B, Villarreal B and NAC Breda. Riera  served as the Catalan U19 captain in the 2014 UEFA Youth League Championship. 

“It’s always nice to come back to Barcelona. I’ve developed myself here. I hope to come back sooner, but in the end it’s the same.

 My signing is not easy. We all know that Barcelona’s situation is complicated now, Riera told Dior Rio Sports.
