Former Barcelona star rejects come back to the club in spite of Lionel Messi's request

Barcelona Barcelona midfielder Thiago Alcantara was considered surplus to requirement by the Catalans back in 2013 and as a result, left for Bayern Munich. 

Julen Lopetegui was a huge fan of Thiago Alcantara and the Spaniard hoped that he could go to Madrid last year. 

Now, the Bayern midfielder has won nearly everything possible at Germany but wants a new challenge which Barcelona as well as its rivals are willing to offer.

 On the other hand, Atletico Madrid risk losing Saul Niguez to one of Manchester City or Manchester United and Diego Simeone is also open to the prospect of bringing in Thiago. 

Now, Zinedine Zidane has the same feeling about Thiago and would welcome the playmaking midfielder despite preferring to purchase Paul Pogba over anybody else available.
