The 2023/24 La Liga season may not have ended even a month ago, but the schedule for the 2023/24 season has already been announced.
The new season will start on August 18, 2024 and run until May 25, 2025.
Barcelona will start the season with an away game against Valencia, then in the following weeks they will face Athletic Club at home and Rayo Vallecano away.
The two most important matches of the La Liga season, El Clasico, are scheduled to take place on October 27 (matchday 11) at the Santiago Bernabéu and hopefully on May 11, 2025 at the renovated Spotify Camp Nou. A week before the first Clasico, Barça face a tough match against Sevilla, but a week later they could face Real Oviedo or RCD Espanyol.
Interestingly, the Blaugrana will face either Oviedo or Espanyol again after the second La Liga El Clasico.
The Catalan giants will face Atlético Madrid at home on 22 December (Matchday 18) before visiting Civitas Metropolitano on 16 March (Matchday 28).
Their final game of the season will also be away against Athletic Club.
Barcelona embark on a new journey this season under new manager Hansi Flick. Having finished second to Real Madrid last season, they are now looking to make a strong comeback.
