Lamine Yamal has shared his aspirations about his future.

The 16-year-old exuded confidence and spoke of his desire to one day become a club legend. This certainly delighted the Barça fans.

When asked if he wanted to stay at Barcelona for the rest of his life, he replied: "Yes, I would like to become a Barça legend."

When asked to name the player he would like to play with, he replied: a winger. He chose a Barcelona icon and answered: "Neymar."

The conversation took place before the match against Croatia, where Flick wished Yamal good luck and expressed his excitement for the upcoming season.

"I spoke to him before the match. He wished me good luck and told me he was looking forward to the start of the season and I said the same." One of the questions asked of Yamal was about the often-tensed relationship between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

Yamal responded maturely, stressing that players from both teams maintain a good relationship with each other despite the rivalry. He emphasised that personal bonds can transcend professional competition and underlined the mutual respect between the players.

"Carvajal?" We get along very well and that's what helps us win big titles. I didn't know Nacho but he looks after us young players very well," said the 16-year-old.

When asked which is harder, a maths test or scoring a goal against Real Madrid, the youngster simply replied: "A goal against Real Madrid". It is no secret that Yamal has a great relationship with Athletic Club striker Nico Williams, who also happens to be a transfer target for Barcelona.

Yamal said about himself that he would like to one day share a dressing room with Nico at club level.

"Nico Williams? I am his father in everything and I have outdone him in everything I play"

"I hope that one day I can share a dressing room with him at Barça," Yamal added.
