Joselu speak about Yamal performance.

Following on from Dani Carvajal's praise, it was Real Madrid striker Joselu who expressed his admiration for Barcelona's young talent, Lamine Yamal.

As the Spanish national team prepares to face Italy in the second leg of Euro 2024, Joselu took the time to speak to the media in Donaueschingen.

Although he is yet to make his debut in the tournament, he couldn't help but heap praise on Yamal, declaring him one of the best players at the moment.

Sharing his thoughts on Yamal, Joselu recalled his own experience at a similar age. He said that he played for the Division of Honor youth team at the age of 16, which was quite a challenge.

But Yamal is competing at a very high level with the best players in the world. Starting at the European Championships at such a young age and playing regularly for Barcelona is an incredible achievement.

"Ramin is a special boy. When he was 16, some of us were in the youth teams in the honorary division," the Real Madrid striker said, as reported by SPORT.

"It's complicated because at this age he's competing at a very high level with the best players in the world and he's a regular at the European Championships and a regular for Barça."

"He has a lot of achievements and incredible qualifications to achieve what he wants to be," he added. But Joselu also stressed the importance of being careful with FC Barcelona's young star.

He said it was important to take things step by step and ensure that Yamal has the right support and guidance as he continues to develop his career.

"We have to be careful and cautious because he is young and has all the prerequisites to achieve something in this sport.

"We are looking after him very well, he is a very quiet boy who is on the right path and we have put together a great group to support him. He is proving with every match that he is one of the best players in the world," he added.

But Joselu's praise was not limited to Ramin Yamal. He also used the opportunity to praise other Barcelona players, mentioning Pedri and Fermín López in particular.

Both players have been at the Spanish national team training camp and Joselu also acknowledged their contribution and talent.

"After all, youngsters like Lamine, Nico and Fermín emerge very early. Pedri, who has had a difficult season due to injuries, is getting back to his level," Joselu concluded.
