Hansi Flick has a taken a close look at the youth team players.

At the moment, Barcelona's main focus is on complying with the 1:1 financial rule, and once this is achieved, the Catalan team will be freer to explore new market opportunities.

With that in mind, let's take a look at five up-and-coming talents that Barcelona should keep an eye on this season. Antonio Nusa, also known as the "Norwegian Neymar", has been linked with Barcelona in the past.

Barcelona have also been rumored to be linking up with other big names such as Nico Williams, Dani Olmo and Hvica Kvaratsheria, but Nusa may not be generating as much marketing hype.

Nusa's greatest strength is his dribbling skills. He is exceptionally fast and agile, which, combined with a variety of tricks, makes him a challenging opponent for defenders. Guillaume Lestes is a young goalkeeper who plays for Toulouse in Ligue 1. He is only 19 years old, but has already secured a place in the team's starting line-up.

While Marc-Andre ter Stegen's position at Barcelona seems stable at the moment, Lestes could be a key player in the future.

At such a young age, Lestes has already shown promise and recently extended his contract with Toulouse until 2028, showing the club's belief in his potential.

His talent has been noticed and he has attracted interest from some of Europe's top clubs, including Bayern Munich.

With his continued development, a move to a bigger club seems almost inevitable and Barcelona would be well served to monitor his progress.

Importantly, he plays as a left winger, which could make him an ideal player for Barcelona. While it is unclear whether he is perfectly suited to the role, Barcelona have been scouting talent from South America in the past and the latest player to catch their eye is Luis Guilherme.

Although he recently moved to West Ham United, it will be important for Barcelona to keep an eye on his development. The 18-year-old has been compared to Brazilian legend Ronaldinho due to their similar playing styles.

Guilherme only made his professional debut for Palmeiras a year ago but has already made a name for himself.

Last season he played regularly in attacking midfield and impressed with his speed and passing skills. His potential is clear and Barcelona should keep an eye on his progress. Franco Mastantuono has caught the eye of Real Madrid but Barcelona still have a chance to sign him.

Mastantuono has reportedly agreed personal terms with Real Madrid, but sudden interest from Manchester City and direct negotiations with River Plate have stalled the deal.

City's involvement in the transfer saga gives Barcelona a decision to make. Mastantuono is a promising talent and Barcelona should consider a move before it's too late.
