Barcelona's board of directors has approved the financial closing of the 2022-23 season, revealing a profit of €304 million. This surpasses their initial profit forecast of €274 million, marking a €30 million improvement.
The club's total income for the season reached €1.259 billion, while expenses amounted to €1.165 billion.
The next step is for FC Barcelona's members to approve these financial figures at the Compromisarios Assembly scheduled for October 22, coinciding with a LaLiga match against Athletic Club. There is confidence within the club that members will support these accounts, once again highlighting a profitable season.
Looking ahead to the 2023/24 season, the board is pleased to announce a budget that anticipates positive results, even without the financial boosts from new sources. The club aims for a revenue of €859 million and a profit of €11 million. This achievement is considered significant, given the challenges posed by playing at the Estadi Olímpic de Montjuïc, which doesn't generate the same revenue as the Spotify Camp Nou.
